+1
Florida Home Access installed our exterior stair lift and Andrew Scothern was extremely helpful every step of the way.
The system we originally selected was continuous, up the stairs to a landing, turning and continuing to the top. This was 6-8 weeks which we planned to do. Two weeks later, due to health reasons the need for another option was a necessity. Andrew suggested a two chair option that he could put in the following week when parts arrived. Andrew moved quickly on it for us and that was the best decision. He had the chair installed, explained to us how to operate and that was it
He’s very knowledgeable and a clean installation was completed in less than a day. I would recommend Andrew and Florida Home Access if you looking to install a stair chair.
He’s awesome!!

Excellent installation and service. The only key issue I had is the original seat depth of first lift was shallow. However when I bought additional chairlift for the last 5 steps from the mid- landing, (that one was secondhand) it was a deeper seat depth and quite comfortable. I suggest checking that out before you buy.
Another separate issue: I can’t understand though why adding a wrap around piece across the landing that connects the 2 lifts was quoted so expensive for approximately 3 feet to connect the 2 lifts. The reason given was that the connection addition is “custom made”.

My family and I obtained three separate bids for a motorized stairlift chair. We decided to purchase the Aviator Stairlift from Florida Home Access, and we wanted it installed immediately in February 2026. We found Florida Home Access to not only be the least expensive bid for the project, but the owner of the company personally came to my home to provide us all the information and involved expenditures. Since I was anxious to have the stairlift chair installed immediately, the owner personally did the installation himself in order to meet my desired deadline. My life has improved 100 percent.

Andy is a true professional from start to finish. I can’t imagine this installation going any more efficiently than it did. Timeframe was as initially stated and to our complete satisfaction. If you are considering a stairlift FHA should be your first call. Thanks Andy.

Andy has serviced our stairlift after two hurricane flood surges now. He has always done a terrific job, being thorough while always staying mindful of any cost savings he can offer. His cheerful attitude and attention to every detail make him a real pleasure to work with. I heartily recommend Andy and Florida Home Access for any of your mobility needs!
